Day 27 - Lehava - Moshe Kadoury

Day 27 - Lehava - Moshe Kadoury

After our last beautiful Shabbat dinner with our Lehava family, Saturday gave us time to wind down. The day was filled with song, prayer and food. There was plenty of free time which allowed us to socialise, learn and have time to ourselves. I feel as though the time we have for self reflection is so vital for our busy schedules. This is why Shabbat is so important, the time we have to disconnect to reconnect is like no other day of the week and the time we have to sit around a table with all our best friends is like no other day of the year.

Lunch starters, main, dessert and Seuda shlishit had me full to the brim. Seuda shilshit was filled with more food and more fun until we brought out Shabbat with a beautiful Havdallah and headed to Cinema City in Jerusalem. We were treated to VIP unlimited pizza, drinks and Ben and Jerry’s! After stuffing our faces we took endless amounts of popcorn to keep us snacking throughout the movie. Getting back to our hotels fairly late, we all felt well rested and pleased with the day we were lucky enough to have had.
